Its really simple, let me make it easier for you. I was on reserve in ALB for 6 months, yet many many others who lets say have been with the company for a month had great lines, weeknds off etc. Becuase there are so many "bases" seniority isnt on your side as much, or should I say at least for me it wasnt, but to others it benefited them I guess You get my drift?

Yeah your point is definitely going right over my head. I still haven't figured out why you wouldn't just go to a junior base and get off reserve if your only concern is holding a good line. I must be missing something big though, you haven't given up yet. I should probably go to sleep if I am losing a debate with SAAB.

hahahah well, no I mean technically you are right, but some of the bases for COLGAN are in the middle of nowhere, so QOL, would go down the tubes, not to mention kinda hard to commute to Altoona, Johnstown, I mean yes you can do it, but for me woulda meant a lot of time getting to/from work. So yes you could move around to get a good line, but who wants to live in Presqisle, MA, sure its pretty but not for me

Re-read what you just wrote...THAT doesn't make any sense.
If you're senior, you can at least GET that desirable base. Using your example, at 'other bases' you could be junior but you can't be junior and have good seniority with your pick of the bases.
Sorta like getting off reserve in EWR quicker than CLE (not sure if it's true, just using it as an example). One could be more senior in CLE and still be on reserve than in EWR and have a line.
Clear as mud?

I am #71 out of 350! Great seniority right? I am #4 out of 5 at my base, so I'm not and never have been on reserve, but I get the last line! Why don't I go to a junior base so I can get the best line? First of all - last I checked I would still be maybe #2 at most other bases, 2nd -- I'm home every night, and 3rd -- I'm home every night!!
P.S. won't be bidding the Q; will be voting yes
