Why does the CPP, equal movement? How many guys will be leaving September?

Our problem as been we've had many more junior Fo"s leaving than senior captains. United has said they will begin taking our pilots this fall as part of the program. I forget the specifics of amount but I believe its around 15-20 a month if not more. These will be the most senior folks creating upward movement.

Mid 2011 hire at XJT ERJ side . Wouldn't recommend anyone going there . Don't know anyone else who actually works there that isn't a recruiter that would recommend anyone going there . The United Pathway Progarm is just a carrot to try and get new hires throug the door . It's just an interview . United already hires plenty of XJT guys as it is . It won't create any major movement off the top . Upgrade time will still be close to 9 years . There is no current growth or single list in the near future .

Looks like March 2014. Might be lower than that with a few others bidding relief/reserve lines. I would think some 2015 hires are getting relief lines.

Explain how this will not create movement?

Projections are a dangerous thing, go with a company that has consistent movement, historically low times on reserve, and quick upgrades.

Just don't let the airline you choose with quick upgrades/reserve be a bottom feeder with horrible contract/pay with no improvements in sight...

Have you read the details on the United Pathway Program ? Flow through programs create minimal movement, this isn't even that . It's an interview . How much movement do you really think it's going to create ?

I would say that is bad advice... Go to Envoy, sit reserve for four years, no upgrade in sight... Mesa, you are off reserve in 6 months or less depending on base, and upgrading when you have 1000 121 time. You tell me where you would be happier? The gold standard or the bottom feeder?
This attitude has shot more pilots in the foot than any other...
