I have and it requires around 200 plus to come from the XJT seniority list. (UAL hiring slows then sure that number will be lower) How does that not create movement. Be negative about the program if you wish (it appears you no longer work at XJT anyway) Most are very excited about it and see this helping the stagnation at XJT.

This attitude has shot more pilots in the foot than any other...
The music is slowing for Mesa. Reserve times will begin to go up and upgrades will slow as growth slows. What a terrible place to be stuck with crappy pay. There is a reason so many FO's are leaving Mesa for other regionals.

UAL hires a good amount of XJT guys already without the program . Most of the people I have talked to aren't that really excited about it. Maybe I'm wrong . It all comes in waves . XJT was the place to be when I got hired, now look at it ..... I was lucky enough to get hired early enough in the wave that I at least spent a minimal time on reserve , but still when I left with over 4.5 years of seniority I was still over 300 numbers away from upgrade .

You actually just said it. The fact that UAL already hires so many of our guys plus you add the CPP program and all those leaving for DAL SWA, FED EX and others movement will be brisk.

I'm really looking at 9E because of the MSP base. Not to mention all the other positives, like the money and the current upgrade time. I would live in base, in MSP and not have to commute.

But I really want UAL, on the legacy side. Yeah, I know you can still "maybe" get an interview with UAL working for 9E. Or any other regional for that matter. But the numbers don't lie, more XJT's are getting the call to interview at UAL CPP or not, than anyone else at any other regional. Honestly, I'm torn.

Commutair would be your best choice. Ewr is junior, and you will move quick with the growth. I would imagine you would hold a line within a month or two of finishing training. Upgrade when you hit 1000 sic.
