How Bad Would this Be? GoJets/TSA
Hello all, first post! serious question:
Mid 40's corporate guy facing a possible flight department closure. A few years of 135 but mostly all 91. Based in STL and can't move. Hypothetically, if you took income out of the equation (wife does well), how is the QOL? Any old geezers like me rebooting a career on your end at the regionals? Thanks.

I have one guy who got hired on at 63 (I think), his dilemma is weather or not he wants to upgrade with and get be at the bottom of the list again before retiring or not. Coming from the corporate side you might find the QOL difficult at first. However, with the movement at some regionals right now, you could see a relatively quick increase in your quality of life. I'm just about 2 years in at my company and I'm in the top 8% of the FO's, my schedule is pretty decent and I hold 15 days off/mo consistently. The dilemma I am facing is weather I want to take my upgrade right away or hold off slightly so I can keep some of my qol.

I've flown 91, 135 and I personally like the 121 flying way more. On demand 135 is about the worst job you can have in aviation.
Best of luck in your search!

As far as Gojet or Tsa, it's the same company. And it will literally be the same company soon as both certificates start to consolidate flying.
