Those things would not have happened under the old system. This is the new AAG.

AAG, in its newest form, is a fairly new creation. They have already grown their WO'd quite a bit. Envoy is getting new 175's, PSA got something like 60 CRJ900's and almost tripled in size, and PDT is getting jets.

PDT and PSA pilots would love to see AWAC go away. Had 2 different PSA pilots mention all the rumors swirling, in the same day.
A PDT pilot bragged about how they're taking AWAC flying, on the Philly ramp freq last week.
How sad....

Exactly ! Let's be honest here. It's all about the money-money-money . Safety in second place. The regional model is in big trouble, it's either going to implode, or turn in to a gateway job for greener pastures. The pipeline WILL not be able to keep up with retirements at majors. Factor in LCC careers and we have huge numbers problem. Sit back and watch the fireworks baby .....it's only starting. Pay up or shut up!

Why would we want that? Most of us have friends at AWAC. And besides, which WO is going to be able to do your flying? None of us could staff it.
