I just hope the sarcasm I'm sensing is real

Completion factor isn't everything when you're never on time. And I agree with CLTguy, if they have better fuel savings then holy hell!!! PSA is outrageous with their fuel savings bs. Even spending money for a fuel savings PowerPoint to show and keep track of each captains performance. Total joke.
Holy hell! Thanks!! I've always wondered what we were called. Air Wiscancel- classic! I mean we have Brown Streak (poop stain airlines), Brokeyard, Tranny States....it seemed completely unfair to be left out. And, as we say here at Air Wiscancel, "thank god for cancellation pay!"

Probably not. The mentality is ridiculous.

If AAG is willing to pay for an aging aircraft inspection for some if these birds... they can continue on...right now at least four are already hacked up for parts....three more are being put in long term storage...but not the desert...
I jumpseated on an AirWisky flight once to CLT, the planned fuel over destination was 1450 lbs (we landed with 1500 lbs). I couldn't believe it, if that is normal then I believe the fuel savings part.

Just because we occasionally hear a pilot for any given airline make a snide comment here or there, does not mean the pilot group he/she works with as a whole is any less of a "great bunch of folks". Trust me when I say that the occasionally vocal loudmouth both on the airwaves and here at APC is not representative of any of the airline's pilot groups here - Regional or Major. Typically, comments like you describe simply elicit huge, embarrassed eye-rolls in the other cockpits from the same airline.

AWAC, Compass, Skywest, Horizon, PDT, PSA, Envoy, TSA, Endeavor, etc., are all full of great men and women.

Your comment about the supposed opinion of "real" AA pilots is generally wrong too. Which folks do you want to call "real"? The nAAtives hired off the street? The USAIR folks? The original Piedmont pilots? The America West pilots? TWA pilots? AirCal pilots? Reno pilots? The original PSA pilots? The thousand or so flows from the former American Eagle, now Envoy (many of whom are now Captains at AA), and now PDT and PSA?

Believe me when I tell you that you'd get along great with pilots from any of the airlines I've mentioned - Regional and Major - unless, of course, you're one of every airline's 5% group - those pilots who can't seem to get along with anybody.

Well I don't think I'm a five percenter. Based on my own personal experiences I've witnessed a lot of bad behavior and bad manners from both AA mainline and the wholly owned operators. It didn't surprise me at all that the person I referenced told that story. And conversely, I've never had anything but positive and good encounters with Air Wisconsin people. I'm sure there are a lot of great people at AA's regionals but I don't seem to get an opportunity to have them show that to me. Instead I get lots of mainline and regional AA types who routinely interupt whatever we're doing at the moment to prepare for the flight and proceed to tell me they're riding up front with me. They still get a ride but only after a discussion about manners. No one from any other group has ever done that in my ten years here. And that's just one example of many. I'm not the only one that sees it. Just saying. . .

Well said.

Regional pilots pick airlines based on the market at the exact time that they are looking for a job, and for a good base. Other than that, we are all the same.

I'm not sure why that's happening with you. Pretty much everybody I've seen knows how it's supposed to work - the protocol and manners associated with JS travel. I can only speak of the people I've interacted with for 25 years, and almost all are class acts all the way and know the rules. Sorry you've met our bad apples, apparently.

I highly doubt that, but cool story bro.
