Let's face it... none of us really like Saab's rants and arrogant comments, but he did fly the Saab before she flew the ERJ... yes I know I said she, but what would a post on this forum be without some sort of insult... I digress... see the "no gojets in our jumpseat" thread to see Saab and I hurling insults only enough to find a mutual respect for one another out of complete dis-agreement on most things.

I will admit she (there it is again )is a more experiencied pilot than me... probably better too. There it is folks... you heard it here first.

LONG LIVE AWAC!!!!!!!

haha j/k

Well aparetnly the FO supply here in ORF is running a bit dry... 10 FO's were awarded lines in ORF to take effect in July. Finally I'll be going to work to work and not just sit around the crashpad and contemplate my exsistence. At last some movement!

Groovy aviator,

Did you finally get a line? Cool! I didn't get Captain in the latest award..... But I am a bit closer.

Glad to hear you are getting along a bit.

How are things in ORF?

That's because they hadn't had a vacancy for so long and a lot of people got sick of being where they were.

I didn't move around, though I actually did think of going back to ORF. I still think it would not be a bad place to be once I upgrade and sit reserve. At least in ORF I can afford an apartment, unlike DCA.

That sucks. Do you commute?

I am trying hard to get out so I hope I can help out here!! But I am too close to the upgrade to make a lateral move, so odds are I will be around unless something better comes along......

I do commute, that is why I have not went down to ORF, just to much of a PITA to get down there. PHL and DCA are the only bases that would really work for me. I dropped the ball during the last vacancy and should have went to DCA, but that was 6 months ago, and who would have thought PHL RSV would last this long?
