It does make an impression - just not a good impression. Go to a real college and get a real degree. |
There are much cheaper options than Riddle. You really are just paying for the name by going there given the many other college opportunities out there.

No degree required today, but who knows what it'll be like in two years.
Also, whose to say you won't find yourself in a situation where you can't hold a first class medical? I certainly would feel a little better knowing I have a degree to fall back on. Not to mention You'll finish college with great experiences and a more informed view of the world. Just my two cents No degree needed unless you want a great job. 16,000 applications are on file with AA right now. Most spots being filled by former military and the rest being filled by applicants with masters degrees or better. Get the degree. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Can you swing both at once some how? Maybe Cfi your 1500 while full time student at an aviation school that will give you a semester or two of credits for all the flying you've done. When your at a regional go part time till your done.
Normally, I'd say go to college and enjoy it. But if you're dead set on the airlines, get in as quick as you can. The retirements at the majors start to trail off after 2025. It might be a lot of work, but getting your ratings, 1500 hours, and a regional job, while doing part time online school could be the quickest way to a major. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Our society believes a smart person is in debt for college AND flight school! Lol. Okay, now my answer- flying first....build time for the regional job. Then once at Envoy or ?, select a college (online) that will give you maximum credit hours for your work experience and finish up while on overnights, 30 hours layovers and at home. If the AA job is in hand, stop college if you want but you're maximizing your time and money.
You will never regret going to college, you may regret not going. |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk If you want to work on it online while you fly for a regional then more power to you but we work in a seniority based industry, where time waits for no one. Not that it matters, but I do have a 4-year degree so I'm not saying this because I never got one. |
