There are much cheaper options than Riddle. You really are just paying for the name by going there given the many other college opportunities out there.
Can you share some? I have a BSBA degree, but I'm considering Embry Riddle to get the flight ratings. |

Yea, there were guys in my new hire class at envoy as well as guys in my class when I joined endeavor that came from ERAU sitting right besides guys that went to UND, Spartan, community college, etc.
Some of their educations cost 150k+, others less than 50k; yet we were all sitting there with the same seniority date, making the same pay. |

The market rate from zero flight hours to a commercial muti is about 40K or slightly less. Places like Embry Riddle charge double the market rates because of their name. If you want the well known name on your resume and are OK with paying double, go to Embry Riddle.
I don't want to pay double at all, thanks for the tip! |

$100-120/hr for a single engine trainer, $200-220/hr for a multi-engine trainer and $35-50/hr for instruction are good ball park numbers. Plus about $2000 for all your checkride fees, written exams and books. No need to pay more than that. |
