EXJ question
Where do they do interviews? Is it against rules to call and see if they can see you if you're going to be in that town anyway?
|
Do you mean Express Jet? Every thing is in house at IAH/Houston.
Just get in line or get your stuff walkd in. How much cash do you got? I can walk it in for ya! |

Yes i'm flying into houston on the 28th on my way snowskiing. I have a layover from 8am till 3:45pm. Figured while there I would put the suit on and swing by if they didn't mind. I've never had to interview for a job before so I'm not 100% on what proper etiquette is. I know they schedule interviews but not if I could call and schedule one while I'm there.
X-Jet is hirring 90+ guys a month, you'll have to get in line like everyone else. only if you know jamie youll get in that easy/hired. |

Like anything, it never hurts to ask but I would be fully prepared to be asked to wait for the call/scheduled time. It wouldn't cost you anything except time because there is a free momentum air shuttle every 20 minutes... Good luck and let us know what happens. |

You can try...and more power to ya if they let you in... My guess is you wont get far... Interviews are scheduled on specific days at specific times. If not on one of those days/times, HR folks keep quite hidden in their offices and i don't imagine they are ready for a walk-in.

Even if they agreed to it, you won't be there long enough for the whole process. It's an all day deal. Besides that, interviewing is not something you do on a whim. You need to prep for it - you can't just wing it.

Get a clue. Its not mickey Ds. You don't swing by "on your way" to the mall, skiing, whatever, and see if someone will talk to you. Besides, what makes you think you get to cut in front of all the other folks who have been waiting their turn?
