I'm not denying that fact... What I am saying is that the possibility for improvement is there... Whereas it won't be for quite a while at PSA/PDT.

Actually PDT's contract can be improved in 2018....Maybe you guys at RAH will have yours done by then.

As far as PSA we have our great scheduling language locked in, with a small COLA raise every year. I guess I'm "stuck" with 18 days off a month with 90-100 hours credit.

Republic to take 50 E-175s as Q400s head for Flybe - 9/17/2014 - Flight Global

According to this article, it's interesting that Flybe actually wanted Qs, and was looking to get out of their 175 orders. So this was basically a three-way trade:

YX gets rid of Qs (which they had to offer $10K signing bonuses to get new hires to fly), gains some 175s to offset the 6037 145s going away.

Embraer gets more business. (according to a Dallas News article, these are not the 47 options RAH had, this was a totally new order)

Flybe gets a plane that is cheap to operate. The Q is probably more better suited for a European route structure anyways (lots and lots of super short hops)

You know what's legit? How about giving us all a sense of how the Captain and FO halfway up their respective seat lists do. That would be a lot more interesting, and I'd hazard a guess that it would be something less than 18 days off and 90-100 hours of credit. But I could be wrong... maybe 18days/100hrs is standard stuff at PSA...

There are a few regionals where that median guy/girl (left seat at least) would be fairly ok - could actually, I don't know, save a few dollars for retirement, pay for a car and mortgage, help a kid through college, eat out occasionally - you know... standard middle class stuff. How's PSA slot in there? Killing it I'd bet!

Our work rules have been discussed ad nauseam.

They are available to every pilot not on reserve, and most take advantage of them.

I am NOT in the minority and I have no reason to lie. Continue to believe what you want.

I think you need to do more research before you make a condescending post based on assumptions in which you have gotten completely incorrect.

My statement is 100% a sense of what any lineholder at PSA makes on a regular basis.

In fact 100 hours may even be on the low side. How about 14 days off with 130 hours?

Don't believe me? Do what you want but it is true whether you like it or not.
