I asked the question in ground school when one of the management types made his appearance. This was pretty much his answer adding that to recover from an aircraft going down for mx on the west coast would require too much time and probably a fuel stop from our current mx bases.

With scope being maxed out it would take a large shift of flying to support essentially starting a self supported west coast operation for Republic. I wouldn’t count on that anytime soon.

This.. to add to it, we were told that new bases/size of current bases probably wouldn't change much this next calendar year. FWIW
