Some of the responses was pretty much what I thought to be true. Thanks for the reply on that.

Since we’re on the topic of logbooks, my logbook from when I was in flight school is off with times (apparently I can’t add?) lol I contracted a third party who specializes in auditing for that reason. Would it be acceptable to take the new audited times and present that along with my paper logbook and electronic logbook? Just want to show my best work possible is all. And that I’m no longer logging like I’m in flight school 😂

Just a thought from a relative neophyte, but honestly, all of this effort is making me a little suspicious of your times. Do you have an electronic logbook as well? I would recommend transferring everything to the electronic logbook so you know the math is correct. Then when it's time to interview, you print the pages off, certify their accuracy with your signature, and be ready to answer any questions that may arise. I'm sure you're just overthinking this because you, understandably, want to make the best impression possible but might I recommend pumping the brakes. I've never heard of a contracted logbook audit and I don't know what they'll find that wouldn't have been straightened with an electronic logbook or even a basic Excel spreadsheet. Best of luck!

How are your audited times (whatever that even means) different than your paper logbook AND electronic logbook?

This is what I did. When I started training I was not looking towards flying professionally. I wasn't as careful as I should have been with my log. I probably have hundreds of hours I never bothered to log as well. When I decided to start applying to some corporate gigs I transferred everything to an electronic logbook and always took the handwritten books to interviews as well. Only had one interviewer ask me about it, I explained it as I have here and it was a non-issue.

It’s a basically a company that’ll receive scanned opuses of the logbook, add it up, then conference call you about any mistakes they found. They’ll send it to LogTen Pro and they’ll sync it to my account. Just want to show accurate times is all.

I’ll just bring the electronic logbook and the paper logbooks with me. Thanks for the replies everyone!

When is base awarded? Is it before training or class start? I am really interested in republic only thing holding me back is commuting if i have to. Is there any chance to find out what base we are gonna get after interview or before we make any commitment? Also if it is after training and class start can we leave the company without any repercussions?

During indoc at some point. You can get a good idea before you go about how long it will take to get your desired base. Going into the summer there should be more movement. Don’t leave the company if you get a different base initially than what you want. Have a short term commuting plan, and make educated choices about which airline has a realistic base for you (ie don’t come here for ORD. If you haven’t figured that rule out yet, spend more time on here)

i am looking for MIA as initial, but seems highly unlikely, though a recent previous class has been awarded that recently.

You're probably going to have to wait a few months for MIA. If that is an issue for you go elsewhere.

I'm having trouble thinking of a better choice for MIA, Envoy is far more senior in MIA than Republic and that's about it unless you consider Silver in FLL.
