UALPA did not win the war outright. Sorry to break it to ya, fella.

Sounds like some trump spin to me.

Lol. It would have ended just fine for Repiblic and Skywest pilots. United was never going to dump their most reliable and largest partners. YX and OO were never going to go belly up. And most importantly United wouldn’t have blacklisted a single pilot because the unions got in a pis*ing match.

I dunno bout that. If it wasn't a player why was this posted. Someone certainly was concerned.

That’s because the new guys who don’t understand how things operate in the airline/union world needed a written confirmation to ease their tender minds. All the ones going against their unions statement of denying the JS to help out their commuting peers in the long run were the younger new guys that got hired solely because they have a pulse. Thus no pride in where they currently work because it took no effort to get there and they just use the regional as a pure stepping stone and would GLADLY **** on their own peers to get to mainline.

Now let me ask you something, are those the kind of people UALPA want?? If so, good luck on maintaining that future unity.

I think they saw the nuclear actions requested of them as ridiculous. They possessed the ethos that jumpseats should not be used as a weapon.

Our future will be fine. I'm proud that our group didn't lower themselves in retaliation. In regards to unity I must offer Skywest and Republic a word of thanks. This created a level of unity I haven't seen in the past 6 years.
Quote: The deal “mirrors” the Delta jumpseat agreement..
That’s what we’ve been told, but I’m glad we will get to see the finished agreement. I’m happy with it for now, especially since it keeps the priority for UA and EUAX on non exclusive carriers at TOC. Doesn’t give United priority above UAX, which should help the UAX pilots commuting on us.

This should have been the first offer from UA, and I think they would have been no issues.

You signed the same agreement the other express carriers signed. The same one your group said was being “forced” on you.

I’d call that an outright win.

Not true. Don’t know where you’re getting your information from. We get to keep UAL and UAX at the same priority by TOC.

That’s exactly what UA offered you guys. It really sounds like you guys didn’t even read the agreements. I’m not even at Republic anymore, and I saw them last week. Pretty much a waste of everyone’s time and probably cost some folks some money.
