What are the upgrade times in LGA/EWR right now? 4 months delay between award and training right?

This is from the award that came out almost a month ago:
EWR: 2/18
LGA: 7/18
The four month buffer is to allow for the upgrade training before the award takes effect, as I understand it.

What delay? Are you talking about the standard award and base change process? Read the contract.

When you upgrade it is basically considered a base change even if you are in the same base as you are now in a different position. As a result it follows the same protocol so I am not sure what delay you are referring to.

I believe he’s referring to the awards taking effect four months after the bid. For example the system bid that just closed today but doesn’t take effect until June.

That was what I was referring to too. If that is the delay he is talking about, then it is not a delay at all. That is the normal base/job change process as per the contract.

Delay in the sense that it's not effective immediately or the following month, can we move on now?

It's up to you man but delay is a strong word in the airline industry incase you are new to it. Just trying to prevent misconceptions.
