To the guy above, yeah completely agree with you, if the headset still doesn’t work call Bose...I purchased my headset 8-9 years ago and didn’t realize it was completely under warranty still (Didn’t have any paperwork or anything just provided them serial number over the phone). I was having issues with ear piece and mic and they sent me a refurbished headset free of charge a week later..Their customer service is 5/5 stars unlike a lot of companies

Like I said, try those settings first though...I had a captain at the time that got my headset all sorted out with the settings I mentioned above and it worked on the 170/175. If not try customer service.

A long time ago I came to terms that the EMBs are just finicky with certain headsets. I used a clarity aloft in the 145s and had issues with the nav radios bleeding over at a very irritating level anytime the hot mic was on. You’d hear static and a Morse code for whatever station was tuned in even with the nav audio deselected and turned down all the way. You’d have constantly try and find the quietest frequency to tune to or religiously turn the hot mic off after talking. It did it on all of the 145ERs, some of the LRs, but none of the XRs.

As someone who hates hearing breathing/swallowing noises, that would be truly tragic....
