Default AA non-rev

Just an AA commuter who uses RPA on American Eagle to get to work. It sounds like jumpseat will be first come first serve if we can figure out how to list but the reason I am posting isnt that….

will I some be unable to non-rev in the back starting Tuesday? I have to plan my commute. CMH-CLT (trip Tuesday) and CMH-DCA (rest of the month of June)

Thanks in advance

You can still list as a D2 (or D1) on Jetnet as always for non-rev purposes. In theory the j/s will still be available as a D2 but how that'll work with an offline guy that shows up first remains to be seen. The Captain will have to work with the gate agent to issue the 1W to the OAL instead of you.

Thanks, some guys are saying non-rev will be limited also so Id thought I would ask here. I appreciate it

from a recent email:

They plan to seek to force American Airlines gate agents to violate American Airlines procedures and policies by denying AA pilots NonRev (D1 and D2) travel on their aircraft.

That email is 100% incorrect. Republic folks are not denying D1's, D2's D3's or anyone. All that is happening is IF you need to list for the jumpseat on a Republic AE flight, then it's first come first serve with other OAL jumpseaters.

No, we can answer this question now. No AA folks are being denied a seat anywhere.

The only people making that decision will be the captains of those planes, and unless they’re lifers who just hate AA - there’s a zero percent chance they’ll deny a jumpseat over this nonsense. This is and will be a non-issue, but that won’t stop the propagandist sh*t stirrers from doing what they do.

See the “email” above for reference. It might as well have been written by CNN.

The only ones threatening JS denials are the AAG pilots like you who keep saying if we give you equal treatment for the JS it will result in AA cancelling our JS agreement and nonrev benefits. I have yet to see a single YX pilot say they are denying AAG pilots. You are welcome aboard as an OAL Time of Check-in.
