So time to stir the pot. I talked to a friend last night who was a lynx guy. He said the list has been approved by the Feds. Just in time for my class on the 18th. What are the chances they cancel it or furlough if enough guys accept a recall? He said I could be safe but who knows. I also am worried because I haven't heard back from HR since the day they called me about the offer and we are less than a week to go. Any incite?
As far as not hearing anything from HR- thats not unusual for RAH. Like every other department in the company, they are short staffed. One person does the job of three. I wouldn't be surprised if two or three days before class you get an email concerning accommodations and travel. Maybe shoot your hiring contact an email. Welcome to the suck and get ready to strike.

I know ATL is senior and most Shuttle America new hires are going to LGA, but how long would it take a new hire to get to ATL?
If it doesn't shrink any more than it has, I'd say minimum of 3 years. Now that could change if there is a big upgrade as a lot of senior guys there might all leave at once... But there are a lot of guys chomping at the bit to get Into Hotlanta.

This is probably the wrong place to ask this question, and I certainly dont want to ruffle anyone's feathers, but is there any direct hiring into Frontier anymore, or does everyone start out at Republic and work your way up? Like I said, I don't want to offend anyone, but it is a bit confusing when I try to apply to Frontier, and it takes me to the Republic jobs page. Thanks.
