I also am worried because I haven't heard back from HR since the day they called me about the offer and we are less than a week to go. Any incite?
History dictates that you wouldn't be furloughed. You'd be let go and considered a preferential new hire when they need you. That said, I don't think anyone expects many Lynx & Midwest guys will come back. At least not enough to disrupt a moderate level of hiring.

As far as not hearing anything from HR- thats not unusual for RAH. Like every other department in the company, they are short staffed. One person does the job of three. I wouldn't be surprised if two or three days before class you get an email concerning accommodations and travel. Maybe shoot your hiring contact an email. Welcome to the suck and get ready to strike.

I would pick up the phone and call HR. Tell them you've heard they are looking to fill classes and you want in.

did you receive an offer letter (and other "docs") via email... and I think they're supposed to send hotel accommodation info 2-4 days prior to the start of training (hopefully?!)

I have only gotten the training agreement. They did say 2-4 days for the hotel confirmation. 2-4 days starts today! Thanks.

I know ATL is senior and most Shuttle America new hires are going to LGA, but how long would it take a new hire to get to ATL?

If it doesn't shrink any more than it has, I'd say minimum of 3 years. Now that could change if there is a big upgrade as a lot of senior guys there might all leave at once... But there are a lot of guys chomping at the bit to get Into Hotlanta.

This is probably the wrong place to ask this question, and I certainly dont want to ruffle anyone's feathers, but is there any direct hiring into Frontier anymore, or does everyone start out at Republic and work your way up? Like I said, I don't want to offend anyone, but it is a bit confusing when I try to apply to Frontier, and it takes me to the Republic jobs page. Thanks.
