Default Republic Interview

Hey, i am going to a Republic interview the first part of April and was wondering if anyone had any information on what the interview was like and what questions were asked. I have a pretty good amount of information as far as gouges off other websites, but it seems to be outdated and I would rather be over prepared as it is a job I really want and I would appreciate any information. Thanks!

Gouges are still pretty accurate. Most of the technical is dealing with an approach plate and questions from that. HR questions are probably the most difficult.

This is the sophomoric response I would expect from some of these posters. This one in particular.

WarbirdPilot good luck in your interview.

Sophomoric response? Are you freaking kidding me? Anyone who is thinking of going to Republic should be aware of what's going there. Pilots should be educated about the places they are trying to go and work at.

I think this one in particular should keep any new hire away:

"The pilot Union has voted to authorize a strike should the NMB release us. If you are hired at RAH, you will be placed on a probationary period for one year. If the pilots should strike while you are on probation, you will face a very difficult choice: strike with us and be fired by the company, or cross a picket line and earn the black mark of a scab"

Some of your posts really make me think you're golfing buddies with BB & WH. As a prospective new hire, I'd appreciate the information from rahcontractnow.

He asked about interview gouge RAH Bro not rahcontractnow. If you search the other posts, specifically: " RAH $30 1st year pay..yeah, about that.. " it is all in there.

What is the topic of this thread Emb170man, DenPilot and Oskeewowow?

Republic Interview!

Do you guys not read any of the threads?

Lets see if WarbirdPilot does not go to the interview based on rahcontractnow.

I am not saying that your airline is the top choice for most candidates, but if it is the ONLY opportunity that an individual has then let the individual make the decision and answer his/her question that they specifically asked!

I will tell BB and WH on the back 9 that you guys says hello.

Good luck on your contract.
WOW!

Says the Union whom you pay union dues too and that has ultimately failed at getting a better contract for you for the last 5-6 years. Regardless of the corporate clowns at RAH not cooperating, the representatives for Teamsters 357 haven't had any luck. I'd say dump them and get representation from an in-house pilot union for half the price.
