When are we going to stand and be united as a pilot group and stop heading over to the airlines that just put us on furlough? If no one goes over, then they will have no one to fly the planes, sad how they know they can gut an airline and be able to staff another one, that just took your flying, now cheaper because everyone is going to be on first year pay! Sad industry we are in!

Unless you've been in hiding, RAH has been interviewing and hiring many Colgan Q400 pilots the last few weeks. There's your pilots.

If RAH ran a class of 50 per month starting this month, they would still fall short of full staffing if the aim is to fly these routes by the third quarter. If October 1 were to be the start date, it would be a stretch to say those hired in August would be ready.
I'm sure RAH has a plan to staff the aircraft, but it seems like a tight fit.
