Request all you want...

This is the IBT's way of diverting attention to the fact they can't close the deal. The IBT has WITHDRAWN previously negotiated Sections...in their ENTIRETY. Having played this game before, being in a similar position, getting a release will be next to impossible. The Company will simply refer to the wasted time "negotiating in good faith" per Section 6 guidelines, and that they, can accurately state, they have met the minimum legal definition of "Bargaining in good faith.." Plenty of ammo for BB here, IBT 747 fiasco et al., and the game will go on. This "strategery" was approved by IBT Airline Div......Bedford will laugh all the way to the bank as ya'll work under this atrocious contract for a while longer. PS Wait to the "last hour Settlement" occurs....with no retroactivity to the Amendable date. I bet the IBT agrees to it, .....E190 is JetBlue or better, right? Look for some interesting spin on why THAT didn't happen......Good luck just the same.....

Whether they are released is up to the mediator. Only time will tell there.

However, the "last hour settlement" to which you refer is a misnomer. IBT can't "settle" anything. There may be a last hour TA, upon which the RAH pilots will vote to decline or ratify, but IBT will have no say in the vote. Having been in this position before, as you say, I am surprised you would not know this.

Even if the expected last hour TA is substandard or inadequate, to include signing bonus/retro pay, it's terms will be based on what BB & co were willing to concede just as much as what IBT was willing to demand, and vice versa. The strategy involved goes layers deep. A poor TA presented to the pilots as the best offer the company is willing to provide can easily become a rallying cry.

At the end of the game, whether the RAH pilots vote to ratify a substandard TA or stand firm is on the pilot group. IBT won't, because they can't, settle anything.

What happened? Forget the password to the 3662 username? Of course the new union withdrew sections negotiated by the old corrupt 747. It was their duty to do so. Im sorry you are so upset the new guys arent in your back pocket anymore. You guys had it great for a while as GS did everything you wanted. Those days are long gone. Better get used to it.

actually, incorrect on many assumptions. This is way above the mediator. The mediator's boss happens to be Ron Henson's golfing buddy...so let's just say that it isn't a level playing field. If you read the letter that came out today and the attachement, the IBT skipped the mediator, skipped the mediator's boss, and went directly to the head of the NMB. They said that the process is going no where and we want to be released. When corruption is in the way, get it out of the way...I'm glad to finally see something that has the apperance of progress...now the fun beigns.

Well my respect for RAH pilots just increased tenfold! I'll walk the line with you anyday. And you know what? If the NMB says no...just keep asking. Also, since the average Joe doesn't know who Republic is, hopefully the IBT makes the media very aware that you operate jets on behalf of United Airlines, Delta Airlines, USAirways, etc. Let the traveling public know whose airline operation a potential Republic strike would hurt. Good luck fellas!

Already been started. Although, the targeted audience is actually UA, Delta, and USAir's management. The goal is to get them to put pressure on BB.
