I thought it was just the new term for RJ pilots...

Ok so I didnt really explain well enough... They dont distinguish between the two when it comes to runway incursions and safety...I would rather be safe than worry about ****ing someone off cause they cant look away from my strobes. Its such a minor thing to whine about. Now mx guys almost hitting you in the super tugs - thats something to complain about!!

Not all RJ pilots, there are some very competent members of that group and I do not wish to disparage them.

I do wish to disparage those who aren't able to distinguish between minor convenience items and those which have a real and direct bearing on safety; and then want me to believe that their degree from the Harvard of Aviashun {sic} makes them more knowledgeable than the NTSB and those who've been flying the line for decades. I guess I'm getting old and crotchety that way.

Your Riddle degree can't fool me, though!
Learn to read buddy. Oh you didn't goto college? And you whine about your pay? I said I did a study on it which kind of includes reading ntsb reports... But I bet you've never even read a full report. Only headline articles and what other people say happened...

Btw I was taking things lightly and even ridiculed myself. Everyone got that except you who obviously have some sort of educamational shortcoming.

I'll be quiet now before you report me to MY chief pilot

Sorry DENpilot. I should delete my previous posting. Didn't know you were 2nd year FO for xjt. So barely over one year? Forgot how big my head on my 2nd year. You'll learn good luck going to silver and lowering bars for us.

Strobes on when on the runway, yes of course it's a no brainer. But strobes on when you are # 7 in a lineup of 25 airplanes to take off on 32L@T10 at night is not being considerate.

Personally I don't think they have enough strobes. I like to stare directly at them out of pure boredom. I also love the new strobes that AWAC has on the tail. You can see them for miles away.
