It appears (based on RJET's latest fleet plan updated sept. 5) Republic will be getting rid of five E190s, all leaving the fleet by the end of the year...

So please for my sake, and for all of us who enjoy what we do, and REALIZE WHAT A REGIONAL IS(yes, even RAH), go take your misery somewhere else and let us big boys have a conversation.
+1! Olepilot03 gets it!

I asked earlier, but I'll try again... How old can your ATP Written test be at the time of your initial check ride? This varies from place to place.

24 months unless continuously employed by a 121 carrier. The only exceptions to this that have been granted are to carriers that are giving ATP rides to their currently employed FO's during recurrent training. To find out if this applies to you, contact YOUR carrier's training department, not a message board.

There are no other exceptions really to the 24 months.

I am not whining.. It's just you have to accept the reality.. If you are going to work for an airline, learn to be flexible.. and get there early to build enough seniority to make things better for you.

I have seen so many people "waiting" for the right base to open up.
That is not the right way to approach a job; especially a regional
