Thanks 7AC2B60!
Keep in mind, the flight training (Commercial/Instrument), along with the degree, received must also be from an associated Part 141 college approved by the FAA. |
Reduced Aeronautical Experience (RAE)
"A graduate from an institution of higher education who holds a bachelor’s degree with an aviation major and has completed at least 60 semester credit hours of aviation coursework and obtained the commercial pilot certificate and instrument rating from an associated part 141 pilot school to apply with 1,000 hours of total time as a pilot...."
University needs t/b on the list and you need to satisfy RAE, otherwise 1500 hrs Institutions Authorized to Certify its Graduates for an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with Reduced Aeronautical Experience: http://www.faa.gov/pilots/training/a...ority_List.pdf |
