Default Republic, A good move?

I was offered an interview with Republic Airways today and Im just trying to get some information about the company and if its going to be a good move.

Im wondering
What are the upgrade times and minimums
Could a new hire hold DEN or SDF
What kind of schedule do they fly

A little back ground information about myself 4100 TT 3200 part 135 and 500 121. 3700 SIC. Almost all Multi-turboprop with 400 in pistons part 91
Im with a 121 company now but only get about 400 hours a year so Im still over a year from upgrade and then it will take me two and a half years to get 1000 PIC once I do. Even with the slow build, would this be a good move

Upgrade at RAH will be alot longer than that.

Upgrade times are currently at 6+ years. I believe minimums are 2500 hours last I heard, but nobody has been that low time for upgrade in over 6 years. It might never happen again. Upgrade times are currently dropping, but the Chautauqua fleet reduction is going to cause us to stagnate a bit. DO NOT COME HERE FOR A QUICK UPGRADE.

DEN is Q400 only and is very senior for FOs and CAs. There is a possibility of holding that base at some point, but it could be years before you could hold it. I wouldn't count on getting that base in any time frame.

For SDF - we are downsizing Chautauqua (closing IND, ORD, CLE) and the only remaining codeshare by August will be Delta. It might be possible to hold SDF out of training, but it's really hard to say when the next CHQ classes might be since we are actually displacing Chautauqua pilots to the E170. It is also hard to say if that base will remain going forward. Delta has long term plans to eliminate 50-seat flying. In short, don't come for SDF unless you are okay with being displaced. Q400 and E170 bases are much safer for the foreseeable future.

I don't know your exact situation, but it sounds like coming here would be bad if you are looking for PIC.

I have a real knack for being in the right place at the wrong time. 135 SIC is almost worthless, AA DAL UAL aren't exactly beating my door down. 4 years to get 1000 hours 121 PIC Turboprop is a long barrel to stare down. My thought is, If its going to be 4 years to that end goal, I might as well be close to family and in a jet

Dude seriously? It's the regionals. Apply and see who bites. Ill do your homework for you, they're all going to suck. Choose the one with lots of flying and one that will keep you home enough your wife doesn't divorce you.
