"Can I drive to work?" only question you need to ask yourself.

Looking ERJ since I live in Houston, however, the reason I don't mind RAH is because I'm willing to do ORD if I have to

Considering new hires are getting their first or second base of choice right out of training, XJet lost more pilots to the big 3 than any other regional, and finally seeing new hires come through the door. I would say there is some movement at the company. More than there has been in the past couple years. People are always going to complain though.

Simply not true. XJT is "displacing" but not really on the CRJ side. Upgrade currently is about 9 years, regardless of what recruiting will tell you. Only movement we have is pilots under 3 years seniority moving out to anywhere else. That's the facts jack. Company used to put out attrition data, they haven't updated it since March 3rd. Hmmmm.

Currently live in DFW. Originally from Houston. XJT is attractive to me because I can hold either of those two bases. Still considering my options. Commuting sounds miserable and trying to avoid that if possible.

All Xjt needs is some announcement of growth and things will change drastically. We still haven't gotten over the hump of the little to no hiring (09-11) like other places have. Hopefully when we return to profitability with things like the Delta rate reset Inc will shift some growth airframes our way. In the meantime we do enjoy a really good contract for QOL and pay as a regional. And the current DFW chief is the best chiefs I've ever had. Something to think about also is being home based with good contract you can do more volunteer work which seem to be a key item in getting a call from the big boys. Only thing kinda meh is the flying from AA we get in DFW. It's all out n backs to handful of cities. It's not terrible but the DL flying on CRJ side and UA flying for ERJ is much better because we flow thru the system and have larger contracts with a lot of different places. All in all it's definitely not a bad place and we keep getting the shaft from Inc., our parent company, because we are "not profitable yet".

Which one do you prefer - Bankruptcy or CPAs that expire in 2017 with an aging and out-dated fleet?

Do more research...

Hey Jack, Mesa is offering that "quick upgrade" you're looking for. Might give them a call, heard they do a phone interview now.

Thanks for the tip. Don't need it as I sit left seat already. Try putting out accurate information before misleading people. Sorry you don't like the facts and the TRUTH. Happy recruiting, now tell the truth.
