There was a fatality yesterday. Faaster you should have the class to campaign for your virtue award somewhere else. A touch of frost on an aileron of a 340 isn’t relevant to the events of yesterday.

Pretty clean, but not clean enough. Is a little bit a problem on a straight-wing prop job? Probably not but the rule is zero ice, or deice.

I know some folks like to bend the rules up north, but everybody in the lower 48 figured out a long time ago that you cannot apply common sense when the pax all have HD video on their cell phones.

The FAA will come down like a ton of bricks when stuff like this gets on social media. Word to the wise. If you're going to depart with a "touch" of frost, better have the FA make sure all the cabin window shades are down. Welcome to 2019.

Most likely into a place you’ve never seen in weather you don’t understand.
