No need for that IMO, he/she didn't die, and may not have done anything wrong. They normally name fatalities after the fam is notified.

They will name top leaders who are fired (CO/XO/Senior Enlisted Advisor), but do not name lower-rank personal who get disciplined or fired. Names often get in the media anyway, but it's not because DoD released them.

Final report out. Pilot was performing an **** Hot break to landing, two landing assist systems, one of which was auto-throttle, other maintains AoA, were not engaged. Cant link it, but someone else should be able to. Found on news.usni.org
