I would say it wasn't nearly as bad as drug running, and he was very young when it happened. He initially made an honest mistake, and then doubled down by lying about what he saw because he was afraid of incorrectly assumed consequences. I could tolerate him being in 121 years later, assuming he learned his lesson and isn't some kind of wingnut.

Unfortunately the 135 just fired him and didn't throw the DOT book at him.
He didn't "make an honest mistake". He never saw a thing, he just wanted to cause a stir.

OK, the rest of his history is more than enough for 121 no-go if it were up to me.

Are ULCC already THAT desperate that they'll take guys who have not only been convicted of felonies, but lied about them, got pulled out of class, and then were fired for such?? SMH....
