That game sounds safer than playing "Cockpit Cops and Robbers" with an FFDO weapon.

But not much safer.

Since your post has been edited for flamebait, it is difficult to respond to it. I'll simply state that facts are better than suppositions or accusations. A clarification is what I offered. You are entitled to a dim view of jetblue. In fact, I could argue that many B6 pilots might share similar sentiments currently toward the company. However, that topic lies outside the purview of the thread. If you are good pilot, then you have learned from your own error at some point in your career. If you are a great pilot, then you are wise enough to learn from other's errors ( if pilot error is ultimately concluded here) in your career. That's what should be discussed.

Don't know if that's changed, but I have flown with CA's who have it done accidentally. CA initially asked for LOW, then on short final asked the FO to select medium and he accidentally selected MAX. DOH!!!!

This is one of my pet-peeves with Airbii. So many things can be operator specific and as soon as you think you know something, they change it. I guess it could be said for all aircraft, but it seems like much more prevalent with Airbus made planes.

Lambo,
What is your point with the B6 pilot group? The FAR decision was about the BUF accident, had nothing to do with B6 Transcon study. Which was never implemented and apparently 90% of B6 pilots don't want. Also, I look at JetBlue pay rates and in less than 10 years they have equal or better pay than almost all other airlines, on similar equipment. When you factor in their premium pay they make more than most.

Also all the Legacy airlines are arguing for Scope protection on the E-190 series aircraft and JetBlue is BY-FAR an industry leader in setting the Bar for this type of aircraft with all mainline pilots flying them for mainline pay.

You could argue that this pilot group has done a great job in raising the bar for pilot compensation in such a short time. It took Southwest longer to get to Industry average and then industry leader.

Is your point to continue very unproductive work rules and pilot featherbedding, because if it is, one could argue YOU in fact are the one facilitating the downward trend in the industry. The pilot groups IMO have to find a balance and work with management to have industry leading pay, for industry leading productivity. Oh, wait that would be Southwest and Delta who set that example in finding that balance. Oh wait, those two airlines are the Darlings of the industry now. Maybe one day, some folks will figure out that unrealistic, unproductive, featherbedding is what gives management the fuel they need to hold pay and benefits down.

I agree we need to take back this industry, but you need to find a way to do this in a manner that contributes to the good of the profession, industry leading pay should come with productivity and an ability to balance pilot desires with a realistic approch to negotiations.

Sorry, but that role has been taken by NK, others are just amateurs.
