hahaha...
sadly whomever you fly for will be too happy to comply with that!! They WANT to make this on par with truck driving, hence pay you as such!!
The next time you take off your uniform and put on the PJ while doing your pre-flight duties....just remember you DON'T portray the image of someone commanding a salary upwards of 200K a year.

Yeah those types are right up there with the likes of Lorenzo, Wolf and Tilton in bringing down our "once proud industry".
Maybe you need to focus on your industry and let us worry about ours. From what I can see, ours still is "proud". Our companies make $$, we get paid well and I have more time off then when I flew people. I hope you are able to return to the same.
Just for the record, I've never observed any Fedex crew member changing into PJs in the chocks. We have our 5% just like any airline but that isn't something any professional at Fedex would find acceptable, IMO. Once we're on the way and no longer sterile........ who cares what we're wearing (except you obviously).

I've been pushing this with every friend, pilot or otherwise I know... Make the push now gents... the ATA and the greedy SOB's that run our industry are in full press on this!
ALSO... even if you're not a cargo pilot.. KNOW that any increase in demand for pilots will be an increase in pay for YOU!
edit:
If you have the extra time, put this on your speed dial and keep trying until you get thru, and leave a verbal comment... they tally these calls, trust me.

Why has this issue not been taken PUBLIC ........... as in spending money to take out advertising and make this issue transparent ? WHY do we have to fight this via e-mails ?
This is nonsense people ................ You take an issue like this and put it right out there in front of the American Public and hammer it to death ........................... Make the salient points and make it stick !!! The Union wants me to send an e-mail, I have ............ but I sure expected more effort out in the open.

Lighten up, Frances. The only thing fbh will ultimately knock down is a nice cold one with his crew. If there were more like him we'd all be better off.
The silk kimono did startle me the first time.
