Default Operation Raincheck

I learned that there is a program run by the FAA where pilots are invited to a seminar and then an in depth experience at an active ARTCC facility to instill further confidence in the pilot/atc relationship.

Has anyone done this before ? It is interesting to me, but I do not know the schedule of it or ho foster they happen.

You can sign up for emails about what is going on in your area at faasafety.gov. I think FTW center does one a quarter.

Wow ! Looks like Oklahoma has a significant amount of seminars too. I'm currently in Atlanta and it looks like there are only two events scheduled.

They do seem to come around quite often. I signed up for email announcement to any seminars within a certain radius which seems to include the DFW area since I am down there fairly often, but I generally only go to ones in my local area. So far the information provided as varied in usefulness, but I like to see what is being put out in the general aviation world and also enjoy seeing who shows up to these events.
Recent seminars in my area include one on 'Stalls, Slow Flight, and Steep turns',
'What it means to be a good right-seater', and the 'Watch ATC work' posted above.
