Even if he has SW in sight, I doubt he was staring at him the entire approach. I don't know!

Just wondering, not throwing stones.
Was the tower open when they were on approach?

Photo of cockpit as a passenger got off. Anybody want to guess who the captain was texting?

It's probably already been said (not reading 17 pages), but we need to give the guy a break. I mean really, try to think of what you'd do to avoid Branson, MO!

I wonder if they called out a couple reserves for this....
Now that'd be getting junior manned to the next level.

Interesting reactions on this thread. I wonder how different the opinions would be if it was Air China or Korean that landed at the wrong airport.

Landing at the wrong airport is a complete breakdown in situational awareness, monitoring, and CRM. So yes, it can happen to anybody, if they also have a complete breakdown in situational awareness, monitoring, and CRM.

I am truly thankful no one was harmed. Thought the same thing when the Dreamlifter had the misfortune in Kansas. Fly safe all.

Around 100ft more on the landing roll and it would have been bad. These two, and all sitting behind them, are lucky
