Default Psych evaluations post-Germanwings crash

I know it is still early with regards to what happen with the accident in Europe but it is interesting hearing the talking heads wonder why pilots don't go through yearly psych evaluations. I don't know about you but I know a good many people who have not passed the delta or united test and they seem like pretty well adjusted people. Let's hope calm heads prevail.

Worry about a bottom feeder?

If I remember correctly it was your beloved Skywest who had a pilot MURDER his GF run from the law then steal a SKYWEST plane and blow his brains out in the cockpit after attempting to fly it.....

The hiring practices at most regionals are sketchy at best. Anyone with an ATP and a pulse automatically qualifies. I'm sure there's gonna be some grandstanding politicians all over CNN bloviating on the matter soon enough.
