Quote: I would imagine if he had his way JB would terminate the agreement for cause, and never risk an overturn on appeal.
Im sure that’s coming. Looks like an agreement on 2 board seats is being finalized.

I would imagine he will push them to terminate for cause, and deal with the legal consequences afterward.

I'm sure his investment wants no part in an expensive acquisition and integration. All just a guess though.

Quote: My experience is Icahn does not merge airlines and grow them. My experience is he strips them of assets. More likely his profit after he strips the bones clean, than create a merged and growing new airline. I have been watching him closely for about 25:years.

I agree 1000 percent. I feel bad for the Jet Blue folks. I have dealt with this guy back in the 90s.He is not going to
merge the airline unless he can use their assets to make more money with it. Aka Ozark airlines. Bought it merged it then took all the planes that were paid for sold them to himself"leasing company " and paid himself a ton. Then made money on the leases. Sold landing slots. How many slots does JetBlue have at JFK?
