Is it ValueJet, ValuJet, Valujet, Valuejet, Value Jet, Valu Jet? Too many options.

Quote: Man, I've concluded that you're a clown that shouldn't be completely rejected because you've got something to offer. Really do appreciate your insight on more than a few matters. When you start your lame anti-military or Airtran carnival shows, I'd rather you were still at Airtran. Sorry for being so direct but you need to hear it.

Ask some if the SkyWest check airperson FO's have a reputation? They do! But 90% of them are great to fly with.

There are plenty of civ only guys with a "reputation" just like there are plenty of mil guys with one. Douchery doesn't wear a particular uniform.

I hope all of us, to include the douches, get to either stay on property or leave the way they want to.

Quote: They’re basically paying people 67 trips (ExTO + VA + NEC) to stay home on ExTO. I’m getting 88 to work. I’m not voting to cut that 88 to closer to 67. If I wanted to get paid 67 I’d have stayed home.

No concessions from me. They can fire half of the VP’s if they want to save money.
You get 88 plus VA plus NEC or somewhere around 107-110 depending on 3 or 4 weeks vacation. Apples to apples.

I’m at 2 weeks still.....

Last VA month I credited less than guarantee. Next VA isn’t till Fall.

Assumes 2 weeks vacation:

You earn nothing more than 88 (QOL vs Pay) and add in NEC you are at 101. ExTO guys get vacation converted to floating and paid on top of the 55 + NEC or 68 tfp. Difference is 33.

Say they want a 10% concession. Now people working are at 91 avg. Difference is now 23.

15% reduction in guarantee is a 86 avg. Difference is now 18.

Assumes ExTO keeps the 55 and it isn’t reduced further (I’d assume the union would fight to give those guys a option to come back vs take a further pay cut).

Sure I can work more and ExTO guys can’t. But that isn’t apples to apples. Unless I’m missing something...

50% is misleading

When one factors in all the other losses in "total pay" that we've been used to getting if we wanted it, like premium trips, extra trips, extra premium trips, selling back vacation, profit sharing, it's roughly 25% pay... for some of us anyways. Never the less, I'll be the LAST one back.

It's shocking what some of us are doing actually. I've talked to quite a few that are selling the house in the burbs and moving out to the sticks like I did a long time ago. Simplify while still increasing the quality of life. The real estate agents out here are running their butts off with people relocating. It's not just the "Rona" that is going on right now, the suburbs are being invaded and burned down too,

I wonder how many people from all backgrounds never end up sending their kids back to the joke that we call "public education." I have a 10 year old who took the final exams of an intermediate tract (college bound but not gifted) student at the local high school and passed. them all with a 92% average. We're sending her to to public school from 6th grade on so that she can participate in sports, but they are going to find ways to challenge her and allow her to spend the bulk of her day mentoring other students. We (mostly my wife) have never spent more than 2-3 hrs per day home schooling.

My wife is Israeli, grew up dirt poor on the west bank. Many kids shared a text book and her school had no walls. She also has a degree in teaching, and I provide the "class clown" aspect to their education. I'm convinced these times we live in are happening for a reason. This is the era of regular people finding themselves and ending their slavery. Firing the government and totally writing off the main stream media and entertainment industry.

Sorry for being so dramatic.
