I havent heard that plan. Parker just did a town hall meeting to pilots last week and never alluded to it, even after discussing PHX's future.
Not saying it isn't true, but reliable sources versus wishful thinking are hard to separate sometimes. Like always, I'll hope for the best. Moreso I hope there is good info to back up management's strategy.
We at AA have seen so much waste on bad decisions when it comes to adding and dropping routes seemingly on a whim. IMO the bean counters here needed a reality check a long time ago, and all you hear now is that we made some unfortunate bad decisions in the past.
Certianly couldn't pilot an aircraft that way…we'll see.
