This is because you actually haven't submitted an application. You've submitted a profile. Once your profile is reviewed and you're selected to move on the in the process, you'll be invited to apply.

Do you have any numbers for what else is left? Does anybody have a timeline from the phone call until a class date? How long waiting

Quote: I just had a question regarding the application itself. I thought I had submitted mine earlier today. However, when I click on completed applications it brings me to a profile screen that displays a really bad copy of my education and work history that must have been interpreted from my submitted resume. The profile doesn’t seem to want to take any of my edits. Just wondering how i would know if the application itself was actually submitted.

Did you ever get it figured out? I'm running into the same problem. Can't edit the profile part after updating the application itself.

I just started working at SWA with plans to relocate to Dallas for some in base living within the year. Naturally, as soon as I started here, I got the invite for a FedEx interview. I plan on doing it but from there, I’m mentally stuck. Mind fielding a few questions for me?

-How’s commuting and DHing from Dallas?
-what’s the average trip footprint per month? For example I’m expecting 15 days of reserve or 12 days once I hold a line here. -Are single departures shorter trips than multiple departures?
-From what I’ve gathered over the last few pages of threads, it seems like everyone hates on the Bus and the 75. What’s the reason?
-Anyone know where the company is on their hiring projection?
-How is CGN? My wife loves the idea of living abroad and from what I’ve read here, it doesn’t sound awful. Is it mainly domestic European/Asian flying?
-The outside perspective/opinions I’ve heard is FedEx is all night flying; I’ll die before I get to really enjoy my awesome retirement. It can’t be that bad, right? What’s the average night flight departure time?

Thanks again. Tried to research what I could prior to asking this. Appreciate any help, advice, or opinions you have.

from what I know, very easy. Lots of front end intl DHs go through Dallas. We have an AFW base with hub turns and hotel reserve lines, depending on your fleet.

-what’s the average trip footprint per month? For example I’m expecting 15 days of reserve or 12 days once I hold a line here.

totally varies across fleets. No easy answer here. Expect 13-15 days of work per month.

-Are single departures shorter trips than multiple departures?

Not necessarily. Depends on factors such as leg length (long legs pay more, in short) and dead head-ability.

-From what I’ve gathered over the last few pages of threads, it seems like everyone hates on the Bus and the 75. What’s the reason?

people don’t like hub turns

all domestic night hub turns

not all night hub turns no. But expect that for a few years unless you get 777. Day flying goes senior.

see my responses above. One of my classmates came from SWA after a year on property. He’s very happy

Currently they are looking at around 90 days, this will change during peak flying. As of now the plan is to have only one class in December.
