Don't all applicants meet the minimum requirements? It use to be that you couldn't submit an application without meeting the minimums. Maybe that has changed. I would suggest doing something to make your application stand out such as being an instructor at your current airline. At one point, there were 10,000+ applications on file at FedEx. Not sure of that number now, but it they are hiring 70 per month, it could be awhile if you just meet the minimums.

Has anyone had any trouble with the pilot applicant portal the last few days? Went in to update it this week and have a loading wheel that turns and nothing else happens.

Same issue here, except this morning the site went live again with CONSIDERABLE changes. Some of my data seems to have dropped off as well (the port over to the new site missed some things). Scrutinize your entries closely. I'll be figuring out this new layout as well.

Edit: Upon further scrutiny, it appears that not only did the majority of my application not port over, but also it won't allow you to update the inaccurate information. Seems the site is still broken and needs more work. On a side note, I also can't find a "submit" button, which concerns me as I don't know what the FedEx recruiters can see. Can anyone internal shed some light? I had my initial app review with Checked and Set, completed all but a couple of minor corrections, and was just about ready to send them the app for a second review before submitting when this happened.

Atlas has been hiring Aussies for some time now. I have not heard of any from Cathay or Canada.

Disregard all. Had to dig but I found my way back to the application.

True, and we’ve hired Cathay and Emirates expats before the Aussie push. Haven’t heard of any from Canada as of yet either.

Any recommendations for a certain app review company? Looking at both Checked and Set and Career Takeoff. Any others that are successful?

I think the difference between us and Atlas in hiring foreigners is that while we do hire former Cathay, Emirates et. al., we don't hire foreigners who don't already have the right to live and work in the US. Atlas and others are desperate enough to sponsor foreigners for green cards.

Spot on! Anything to move metal and keep those profit margins high. All about the Benjamin’s and nothing more.
