I am working my way through the early stages of pilot training. I hold a doctoral degree. Any idea how much this would be valued applying for FedEx were I to reach minimums?

It would certainly be viewed positively. Would it move the needle much on getting an interview? Probably not.

Dig through your contact list and get a current pilot to submit an endorsement. It’s not the only way, but everyone I personally know had somebody vouching for them. It’s worth a lot.

If you're working with an interview prep group (like Raven, C&S, EC, etc.) will they provide someone (or connect you to someone) that can submit the endorsement?

no. This has to be a personal connection. The endorsement comes from someone that, to some level knows you. Not something you can farm out.

No. Most people are very selective who they give endorsement to and I do not see a FedEx pilot giving endorsement to a stranger. Usually, everyone is saving their endorsement for one of their buddies.

We can only endorse one person at a time. If they fail the interview we get the endorsement back immediately and we can endorse someone else; However, if they were no show for interview we do not get it back for two years, and if they pass the interview, we do not get it back till one year after they complete probation (2+ years). You can see it is a huge commitment. I suggest you start networking, find old friends and see if you know someone who is working here now.

Eh, the “random” ones do happen. I’d agree most are very selective though.

Where does one submit a FedEx Pilot referal/endorsement letter on the job application website? Possibly with other non pilot endorsement letters?

You don’t. It’s a link that the FedEx pilot has to go to on the company website and submit information. There is no option to attach any other LORs in the application process. Pretty much the FedEx pilot would do it all from their end.

Not sure how non-pilot, managerial endorsements are submitted, but I assume it is also through company side website/email. Nothing you would do through your FedEx application.
