Quote: You are the problem. Listen to what you're saying. Honestly nothing to say other than hopefully you wake up one day. Let's raise the standards. If you want to continue endorsing this low standard and join a bunch of people who shamefully destroyed the industry that's your choice.
If you really want to raise the standards.. Quit your regional job.

LOL, Is this guy serious? This has been happening way way before PSA agreed to their contract. He needs to go study the industry back to when we walked.
According to him all was fine until PSA pilots voted in their contract.

It all started when Chautauqua pilots voted to undercut our contract we went on strike for 89 days to get.

No no, there's nothing wrong with that. PSA is the culprit here. Had they not have voted it in, comair wouldn't have gone on strike, northwest would still be around, and pan am would be a 20000 pilot airline by now

Really, nothing has changed in the industry since the Comair strike? The ATP requirement, 117 rest rules, the inability for Lakes, Silver, and Republic to staff, causing them to reduce flying, cancel flights, and get rid of entire fleets? You're right, no way should any pilot group ever try to stop the concessions... What were 83% at Expressjet thinking? What was the Envoy MEC thinking? How dare they say enough to greedy management that loves ever increasing salaries and bonuses for themselves!

Can anyone give me an idea of how commutable schedules are for new hires and which bases new hires are going to?
Looking to commute from ATL, but if QOL for a new hire is considerably better in base, we'd consider relocating to CLT or TYS.
Thanks for any info.

Outstation bases have early shows and end late. Charlotte is commuter friendly, the MIA base will be too.
