I asked about possible job positions without CFII and MEI, but with intent of doing them while I was working. I was told they hired people without them and gave them timelines, but halfway through ground school I was told only CFII's get hired. During a 2 hour lesson my instructor spent 1 hour bit**ing about the company, and charged me for the full 2 hours (that is on him not the company). I never felt comfortable with the MX done on the aircraft and neither did one of my coworkers that was formerly employed with them. Hopefully you can get some information on someone with more first hand experience. Good Luck
Well I have the first hand knowledge and have commented frequently about the place. I have been here for a while, as well as others, and I am still here...
Sorry about your experience with your instructor. I went through the CFI class as well and I believe I was adequately prepared and passed first time. I started as a student and have gone all the way to King Air. If they want you to have a CFII, well a corporate gig wants you to have a type... Nature of the game that probably a dude with 250hrs isn't gonna see. In all honestly, all the guys that have done the whole hire as a CFI (myself included) end up hating it and do the *****ing because they don't make enough money... My advice? Get the CFII
Please leave your comments out, it has been a huge opportunity for me and I hope a lot of others are as lucky...
