Anybody have any information about their agreement/setup with Longhorn helicopters? Curious to know how closely the two operate. Would it be possible to teach in helicopters and fixed wing if necessary?

Us aviation owns long horn. Although nobody has done it in the past, it is a possibility.

Anyone who wants to apply, PM me and I can walk in resumes.

I am starting the 2 year Pro pilot program offered by Tarrant County College starting this spring. Any idea as to how the scheduling/flying will work? I was in the area last Thursday morning and stopped by to check the place out (I realize it will be at Alliance) and talk to someone about USAA. But the guy behind the counter just handed me a folder with prices and a business card and told me to call her and schedule an appointment. He had no info other than that. Is this kind of thing typical there? I will probably be applying there Spring 2015 and was just hoping to have a short introduction to the place. Ah well.

I think scheduling and that sort of thing is still being worked out with TCC. You may contact TCC (Tyson Walker now works there and would be a good contact). Hopefully they can help you. The people working at the front desk at US Aviation will probably not be able to help answer that question.

Tiffaney, the person whose card you probably have, might have more information as well.

Has anyone been through the interview recently? I have been offered an interview, but online gouges are pretty scarce.

Also, how does instructing at the Sherman, TX, location differ from the one at Denton, TX? Do instructors there receive less hours and less pay?

Sherman has less students but basically is the same program as Denton. Denton has self examining authority and Sherman students have to go to dpe's. More flight hours can be had at Denton but advancement to Seneca and king air (if that's what you're interested in) is much quicker in Sherman.

Denton has more to do outside of work but Sherman's cost of living is less.

Pay is the same regardless of which base you choose.
pM me about gouge.

Default info

In have currently been trying to contact us aviation, looking for information but have had no luck. I have sent several emails since I am currently deployed and do not have phone capabilities at this time. I am looking for information stuck as the average cost of living in the area. While attending the program what is the possibility of holding a job since I would have to move to the area. Last I wanted to know if there were any military members of there who have went this route, and how it worked for them. Any of you could help would be appreciated thanks
