From the UPS post on FAPA, "Also hiring into Flight Qualified Supervisor (Captain) positions.". I'm trying to find a way to turn down an offer to appy for this without hurting my chance at a line pilot (IPA) job. I would welcome any advice on this.
They hit me with it twice- once at the interview and once at the job fair (I visited them at little OBAP while I was in the pool). I had been in 135/91 management for 11 years prior to UPS, so I told them I would rather go back to being a line pilot for awhile and I would consider any other opportunities in the future. Also, I told them I would rather learn the UPS system as a line guy and make that transition later if it was something I wanted to pursue. Originally Posted by Hopeful

It's nothing I ever considered, but it kept them happy, it was a PC response and I was still hired as an IPAer.
