Can you add context to your post? Are you at AA, by flow, or about to flow to AA?
Does it matter? Close to flowing, so was wondering about the D1 bank since flows lose, vacation time, can't cash out sick bank. They are essentially new hires from day one, so why does the non rev passes yea transfer?
If it's any consolation, when I left HDQ1 for Envoy...my pass bank (D1s and D3s) transferred, and did not start over. That being said, I sure lost my 401K match, 3 weeks vacation, sick bank, etcetera.

I think it’s good the pass allotment does transfer. Otherwise someone would, as a partial Envoy pilot and partial new hire, get twice as many D1s as the rest of us. Given that we have no seniority for nonrev travel, how fair would that be?
AA often makes me shake my head, so I’m actually impressed someone thought this through.

You aren’t really a new hire day one. You are at a 16% advantage vs a hire OTS since your 401k starts day one when you come from a WO. I’ll happily give you my D1s for your 16%.
