Good morning all!
I am like everyone else trying to find the most direct route to a Legacy Carrier and or Southwest Airlines. I see most Legacy carriers want 1000 hours Turbine PIC time. My options are flying skydivers or doing air tours in a Cessna Caravan 208. Once I hit 1500 hours I would go to a reigional airline. Once
I hit 1000 hours with the company I would then start applying to the Legacy Carriers. My other option is flying a Pilatus PC-12 as a SIC until I reach 1200 hours and upgrade to captain. Once I get 1000 hours SE Turbine PIC time I would then go to the reigionals and fly there until I get 1000 hours with the company and then start the application process. The other option is go directly to the reigionals as soon as I hit ATP minimums as a Pilatus PC-12 SIC. How is SE Turbine PIC time valued at a Legacy Carrier or say Southwest Airlines? Am I wasting my time chasing Single Engine Turbine PIC? Sorry for the long post.
Thanks in advance
