I am a rotor to wings candidate with a little over 1000 hours of total time. I am wanting to use a transition program and have narrowed my choices down to Trans States and Go Jet mainly do to their transition program benefits and domiciles as I will be commuting. Looking to get DEN or ORD. Looking to hear from current FO's, CPT's pros and cons to both. Also the talk of the TSH merger has me a little concerned. Any type of constructive info is appreciated.

Do you want a pathway to Froniter or Spirit? Pick your poison and go from there...

Trans States holdings is going to start losing flying from all 3 mainline partners. I wouldn’t go to any of their 3 carriers.

Any quantifiable data to support this? If so I'd like to see it as im looking at going to G7 for the STL base. Also military trying to get out of the regionals as fast as possible just like everyone else.

Yes, I too would like to see the evidence behind this claim. And not just a "Delta has made it clear its only interested in three regional partners"...ok, prove it.

Apparently TSA started transferring the first of its AA Owned/operated 145s to Piedmont... definitive? Maybe, maybe not but I’d certainly be cautious of going to a regional that is not Owned by a major partner airline if you’ve got to spend any appreciable amount of time at the regionals before moving on to the majors...

Well considering trans states is losing all their American flying now. I would probably avoid that place.

I heard both Skywest and CommutAir have a program that let you train from anywhere. Both are growing but Commut has a much smaller seniority list which allows for opportunity.
