I didn't know verb tenses are so hard. Didn't realize when I say "isn't," it applies to the history of earth.
If had said "Delta hasn't ever thought to buy" or "Delta hasn't ever bought" or "Delta has no use for owning" then you would be right. But that's not what I said. Delta isn't interested. Is not. Not "was not." If that's hard to understand then you need to remove your head from whatever delusional world you are living in. It'll make things less painful in the future.

As soon as every other regional starts paying the same as Endeavor they will struggle again. And even with those payrates, if the transfer is all at once they can't staff them that fast. You can't find the sim time.
Of course Delta would love to hire all these guys at year one pay. The realities of keeping the operation running and the planes flying, however, may prove different. We'll see what happens if this deal ever really happens, but every indication is something is about to break....soon.

LOL you are hilarious. You don't think Delta controls what Endeavor does? THEY OWN THEM. Before Endeavor got this **** hot new contract and was struggling to staff, Delta (Endeavor) was looking to buy Gojet and Compass with the pilots.

.... You do realize Endeavor was filling classes, 60 a month, since early 2015 right? Hasn't struggled for pilots in years

This guy. Sorry you can't follow simple logic. And if you think Gojet or TSA is going to get close to offering Endeavor rates, you truly are delusional. By the way, Endeavor is currently turning away people without 121 experience. They do not need Compass or Gojet. But keep telling yourself they will. Whatever helps you sleep At night
The market for pilots is what it is. Either you pay rates that are competitive or you will struggle to staff. Sorry if you can't follow that logic.
Currently Endeavor has no problem staffing, but when everyone else matches it, that will change. You assume no one is going to match it which demonstrates a complete misunderstanding of how this industry works.

You realize before they started bonuses and higher payrates they weren't filling classes and people were bailing right? This is a cyclical business. When everyone else matches their rates, why are people going to wait for classes there when they can make the same money someplace else. Its the way this industry works. One carrier gets higher pay rates and becomes the hot chick that everyone wants. Then others get those rates and higher, and the hot chick starts to look pretty average. Welcome to the airline industry.

Never said Gojet or TSA are going to offer Endeavor rates. What I've said is it is likely TSH will be sold, and their will be pay increases as part of that sale.

There is very little duplication. And that translates to much lower operating costs, which Delta is able to pass on in wages.
Now in regards to Delta acquiring GoJet or Compass, I’ve been hearing rumblings regarding this for over 5 years now. Is it a form of whipsaw, or a distant threat for Compass or GoJet to toe the line? Maybe, but Delta has said that they want to go down to three regionals at some point. So I agree with you that Compass and GoJet will not be around in the future. But I think that Republic would be the buyer. I just don’t see Delta buying either of them.
