Training Contracts
Quote: Flyexclusive has a 1 year training contract, NJA does not, Flex you dont meet the mins for.
Thank you.

I'm assuming since EJM is part of NetJets there would not be contract too? Anyone know about Airshare, Vista, Jet It, or Jet Avaition?

Should I avoid any particular company?

My understanding about EJM is that you are hired into an account that will have other pilots on there (ie you are #3 or #5 pilot on the account). It usually is for only one, or at most, a handful of aircraft. I do not believe there is a training contract attached to working for EJM, however, pay and schedules vary greatly between EJM accounts. I beleive that other companies such as Solarius, Clay Lacy, Jet Aviation, etc are operated the same way, they manage the account, and thus pay the pilot salaries. These can be either strictly 91k, 135, or a combination of both.

There’s so much information on this website. You want one of us to sum it up for you?

Why don’t you DM some active folks on this forum, or better yet, get on LinkedIn, CAJL, CT350 and start working on getting a job.

No one is gonna tell you a job is “good” on here. This is the most negative site you can come to.

If a company isn’t giving you a training contract, but pays ok and has awful maintenance and operations, is that what you’re after early in your career? It could be. No one can give you straight answers, no one here knows your background, your domicile, how many kids you have. Do your research. You can talk about how training contracts are bad, but can you even handle a V1 cut in the NetJets or Flexjet sim? Or a single engine ILS with no flight director? Some can’t.

If you’re at 1,800 hours waiting for a silver platter jet job, you might want to start going to every single airline job fair and get off this site. Just my two cents.

Its a different market than it once was. I would tell you interview EVERYWHERE, even the bad companies because interviewing will gain you valuable experience in INTERVIEWING! Its a very important skill. ASk questions that you have to the company directly. See where you get a CJo (s) and then do your research about the company.
