Anyone taken the Hogan lately? and any advise on preparing for it. Thank you,

Pay attention to each question. Don't try to "think" they want a specific answer. Just be honest so you don't trip it up 20 questions later when the same question is asked a different way.

I can't believe this is still a make or break. I've seen some very good people who were fantastic pilots fail this, then I've seen some idiots I wouldn't trust with the keys to my teenager's beat up 2000 Volvo pass it.

Prob too late now, but for others, I’ve said this before and I’ll continue to preach it, take it with your significant other. They’ll keep you over thinking it and keep you from not answering the same question differently.
You love crowds and want to be race car driver...duh.

I think this is the stuff that gets people in trouble.

Take it yourself, and just be honest. If you like race cars but don’t like deep sea diving, that’s fine. Same with social events. You may like some settings, and not others. That’s normal. If you answer yes to everything social and no to anything risky, you are either really weird or (most likely) full of crap.

Have you ever taken the hogan? You have previously said you were not affiliated with UAL or UAX. I just want to make sure that the advice on here is from someone who had experience with this test.

Ha. That was a legit question, no problem.

Good advice I got from someone high up in hiring- take it in a quiet place (duh), alone, prefebly in the am. Most importantly, be yourself. Don’t try to think how UAL wants you to answer! A good “trick” is read the question and answer what first comes to mind. This will be the most consistent. If you’re thinking of changing an answer, you are probably doing so for the wrong reason. We are diverse and are looking for all types, none of the questions are disqualifying, just disqualifying patterns. Take a deep breath, be you. And yes I have taken the Hogan, interviewed, hired, trained etc etc
